POSITION OVERVIEW

The Esthetician delivers exceptional skin care services to guests in a luxury spa environment. This role requires technical proficiency across a range of esthetic treatments, a guest-first attitude, and a commitment to upholding Mandara Spa's standards of excellence and healing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Guest Services

• Provide waxing, facials, body treatments, and makeup applications to guests
• Interview clients to obtain relevant health and contraindication information; examine skin to evaluate the suitability of treatments
• Advise clients on skincare and recommend suitable treatments and home care regimens
• Deliver each service with professionalism, care, and the spirit of generosity that defines the Mandara experience

Retail & Product Knowledge

• Maintain thorough product knowledge to promote and sell spa services and retail products
• Make personalized retail recommendations based on each guest's skin care needs and goals

Operations & Standards

• Adhere to all esthetics policies pertaining to chemical usage, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of equipment
• Ensure the treatment area is maintained to cleanliness, safety, and brand presentation standards at all times

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Esthetician or Cosmetology license required
• Minimum 3 years of professional esthetics industry experience
• Proficiency in facials, waxing, body treatments, and makeup applications
• Strong client consultation and contraindication assessment skills
• Demonstrated ability to recommend and sell retail products and spa services
• Friendly, customer service-oriented, and team-focused attitude
• Satisfactory attendance and job performance history
• Experience with Point of Sale systems; Book4Time knowledge desirable
• Computer literate with proficient typing skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in a luxury spa, hotel, or resort environment
• Familiarity with leading professional skincare brands
