Are you looking to gain real-world HR experience in the maritime industry? We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated HR Maritime Intern to assist our team in preparing for an upcoming MLC Audit. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to support key HR processes while gaining visibility into HR operations in a dynamic, global industry.
What You will Do:
Data Entry & Recordkeeping:
Enter and maintain disciplinary warning records in the BOS system with accuracy and confidentiality.
Audit Preparation:
Support data collection and organizational tasks to ensure we are ready by August.
General HR Administration:
Assist with clerical duties including document filing, updating databases, and scheduling tasks.
Exposure to Maritime HR:
Work alongside seasoned HR professionals to understand maritime-specific HR practices and standards.
What We Are Looking For:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Interest in Human Resources and/or the maritime industry
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Organized, reliable, and self-motivated.
Must be currently enrolled in an HR Degreed Program progressing towards obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University.
Salary Rate $14.00-$15.00 per hour.
